A Story

 Once upon a time...

 

 ...this girl fell in love with this boy,

 and then Daniel came along and stole her heart,

 then Jamesy came along and made her heart laugh,

 then "sugar and SPICE" came along and gave her a heart attack,

I mean, made her heart stronger,

 and then "Cabub" came along and just about melted it.

I love my life.

I love these photos.

I can't stop looking at them,

and every time I do,

they make me smile.

In my humble opinion, no one can capture the moment and the feelings like Ellen.

There are just too many good ones to pick from.

My Cup Runneth O'er

Since Caleb's birth, we have been the recipients of such goodness.  I am truly overwhelmed with the kindness of so many.  My heart is so full of gratitude for all the cards, visits, gifts, meals, well wishes, prayers, emails, and sunshine that so many have shared so willingly.  We feel so grateful to our friends here, who truly have become like family to us.

Thank you.  Thank you for helping us, even in the sunshine of our lives.  I am overwhelmed with gratitude.

 Dear Daniel,

Happy Birthday to my dear sweet boy!  You captured my heart seven years ago and you have held it in your hands ever since.  Thank you for holding it so kindly and for taking care of it.  I couldn't ask for a better keeper of my heart.  Even as I have made mistakes, you have never failed me.  You are my rock.

I love your smile.  I love your laugh.  I love your imagination.  I love how you get so lost in your deep thoughts.  I love your soul.  It is beautiful and obedient.  Your eyes are so pure and your heart is so good. 

I hope all your wishes come true.  I hope this year is full of light and goodness.  I hope I can keep your heart as sacred and special as you have kept mine.  I love you Daniel.  Happy Birthday.

 Dear Anna,

Happy Birthday little one!  Oh how I love you!  It has been amazing to watch you learn and conquer your world.  I hope you never loose your enthusiasm and desire to conquer everything, no matter how many times you have to try.  That enthusiasm and desire will serve you well.

 I want to give you the world, but I feel like you have given me the world.  I have never felt such wonder in the little things around me as I feel watching you discover and try and pick up an ant.  The colors in the flowers you pick are so bright.  Your laugh is so contagious and full of sunshine.  Your eyes are so pure and the little words your speak just melt my heart.

I'm so glad you are so tough,

but such a girl at the same time.

You have captured my heart.  It is in your little hands.  I'm so glad you are my little girl and I get to be your mommy.
