Just waiting for the fireworks.
We were too enamored with the show to remember to take any pictures. Now, Daniel wants fireworks at his birthday party.
It was neat to reflect on all the things that went down right there in Boston to make Independence possible. I’m very grateful.

We're just about to finish reading "Johnny Tremain" as a family. It's set in Boston during the time period just before the revolutionary war. I've thought of how fun it would be to visit you guys after reading the book. Maybe next summer.
I'm glad Daniel enjoyed the fireworks. That will be some birthday party if you deliver the huge fireworks show. :)
