Potty Training

I must say, I'm not a huge fan (potty training that is). We are now on day 3 and I wish the title for this entry was "Potty TrainED". I figured I had to bite the bullet and teach Daniel the more refined points of life before he turns 3 next month. He is doing a good job, but we are still under house quarantine, except for running and an afternoon swim.

My favorite quote from Daniel on potty training is "It's not working!". He says that every time he stands up on his stool before using the potty. Once he relaxes enough to actually use the potty, he says "It's working!". So cute!

James is learning a few tricks of his own including rolling over (especially when he is mad), and waking up every two hours at night.

Oh, potty training! What fun. Daniel's comment about "it's not working" is so cute! Good luck with it.
James is adorable! I'm sorry he's waking up every two hours, though. Abby still wakes up a couple of times, I was hoping she'd be like Andrew. From two months on, he has always slept soundly through the entire night. I'll hope for your sake that James starts to sleep more!

James is getting so big! He reminds me so much of Daniel. Good luck with the potty training! I helped with my little brother... it's not easy!

How fun! Soon you will get to know every public bathroom for miles around. The inevitable "I need to go potty NOW!" during shopping trips and outings will be something to look forward to.

I loved Daniel's comment. He seems to have a good assessment of the situation.

Your boys are so cute!
