Today was the kickoff of our annual "Mom's Summer Camp".So far this year's camp trumps last year's, because we had friends come.
We headed to Walden Pond where we...
hiked, the hike quickly became this...
...except when we were chasing chipmunks and checking out train tracks,
and we swam, and tried our luck at fishing.
On the way home we stopped at 7 eleven for our free slurpee(today is 7/11).
And this evening we took a little dip to cool off.

I love the idea of "Mom Summer Camp". For a couple of years we did a summer cleaning camp at home called "camp shipshape". We did daily cleaning projects and then fun activities like watermelon eating contests, clean cabin contests, campfire treats, etc. I need to do this again, thanks for the reminder.
