Daniel gave his first talk in primary today. The topic was families, but the mic was too tempting for a three year old. Let's just say no words were uttered into the mic...just a bunch of noises that sounded really fun when they were projected thru a room of giggling primary children. Thank goodness Christian was the one helping him, because I was not able to control my laughter. He did manage to say "amen".

I love Primary talks. Afton gets super excited any time her name is pulled from the talk mailbox. Now that I'm in primary and know who is giving talks, it was so hard for me to resist telling her ahead of time...but the "YES!" she let out when her name was called was worth the attention.
At least he got up to the mic. Alyssa had to do the scripture/theme a few weeks ago and she just hid behind the podium and ducked her head into me. I don't know what we will do when she gets assigned a talk.
I loved this story when you told it. I loved to read it even more. Hilarious! I love Daniel.
